Supports→Temporalism cannot adequately account for the retention of propositional attitudes over time.

If belief content is fixed at the context of original formation, then a belief formed in 2014 that 'Violet is a child' retains the 2014-content indefinitely, just as a demonstrative fixes its referent at context.

    Key Terms

Context of original formation(epistemology and philosophy of language)
The specific time, place, and circumstances when a belief was first created. In the example, 2014 is the original context when someone formed the belief about Violet.
    Fixed/fixes its referent(philosophy of language)
Locks onto or points to a specific thing and keeps pointing to that same thing. When you say 'that person over there,' you're fixing your reference to whoever you're pointing at at that moment.
belief content(Davidson's holistic account of meaning and belief)
Whatever content must be assigned to an agent's beliefs in order to maximize the truth of those beliefs, defined jointly with sentence meaning rather than independently
demonstrative(Used to argue that "I" is not a demonstrative because I-thoughts are possible without a presented referent)
An expression whose use requires the demonstrated object to be presented to conscious awareness
