William Mann cites a couple of difficulties that arise if the divine attributes are said to be identical to each other. The first is that if God = wisdom, and God = life, then wisdom = life. But wisdom and life are not even extensionally equivalent, let alone identical. If Tom is alive, it doesn’t follow that Tom is wise (Mann 2015, 23).
